Proximity switches with background suppression

Obiect de diferite culori şi suprafeţe, pot afecta puternic comportamentul de detectare a unui comutator energetic. Cu o evaluare pur energetica, este de exemplu pur si simplu imposibil pentru a detecta un obiect negru în faţa unui fond alb.Fondul alb reflecta lumina mai mult decât obiectul în sine.
